About the role
The main focus of this role is to support the planning and delivery of the marketing campaign for Paris Packaging Week. This role is based in our Paris office on a hybrid basis (3 days office-based, 2 days WFH).
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the marketing and content team, the Senior Marketing Executive will play a pivotal part in planning, managing, and optimizing marketing campaigns with email, website, social media, PPC, direct mail (among other channels) – all to drive visitors to the event.
Key responsibilities
- Establishing relationships and managing partnerships with media, associations and a range of suppliers;
- Responsibility for the creation of on-point marketing collateral across the full mix of print, online, social and email channels;
- Delivering that collateral through the full mix of channels – print and digital media, email, social and more – with intelligently-managed segmented activity;
- And crafting exceptional, high-impact marketing copy across print, digital, social, and email channels - ensuring every message is engaging, persuasive, and on-brand.
- Working on both the visitor-focused and exhibitor-focused marketing campaigns;
- Playing a key role to ensure the smooth running of the event onsite;
- Reporting and analysis post-event;
- Be at the heart of the action! Support and help to bring awards ceremonies, exhibitor open days, and networking events to life - creating unforgettable experiences throughout the year.
What’s more, as part of this role, you will be creating content for, and will have the opportunity to meet the creative minds behind some of the world’s most iconic and beautiful consumer products.
Essential skills and experience.
So, that’s the role. What about you?
- 3 years or more in marketing, with at least 1 year in exhibitions, events or publishing
- You are fluent in both French and English (either native, or no less than a level B2); and you are entirely comfortable working in an international environment
- You’re an experienced and talented copywriter who can create compelling content; and can translate technical or business-driven content into sparkling, benefit-led copy
- You have high competency across of all forms of communication – you love talking on the phone and having face to face conversations – will people at all levels - but also have excellent written communication skills
- You’re confident and proactive. While you love working in a team, you have the ability to work independently, make decisions, and stay highly organised
- You’re detail-oriented and efficient, able to manage multiple deadlines under pressure without compromising quality – and have the resilience to keep smiling while doing it!
- You have a sharp analytical mind with a creative twist - because data and ideas are both part of the magic!
- You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office products and are adaptable and quick to learn new processes and systems
- You have an analytical mind and can pull the big story out of the details
- You are an ambitious marketing specialist with experience of the full event marketing mix, and you have the energy and drive to succeed in a growing company
